The previous Incumbent at St Andrew’s was The Rev’d Alan Humphrey, whose final service at St Andrew’s was on Easter Day, 1st April 2018. He has left to take up the position of Warden at Leicester Diocese’s new monastic Community of the Tree of Life. Until a new Incumbent is appointed at St Andrew’s, all enquiries should be directed to Mrs Alison Bates, Churchwarden, or The Rev’d Novette Headley.

Peter is licensed by the Diocese of Leicester to work as a Pioneer Minister with and in the parish of St. Andrews. His role is to build relationships with the wider community and explore different ways of being ‘church’ outside of the current normal service structure. The vision is to find and, in the longer term, implement new or ‘Fresh Expressions’ of church within the context of St. Andrews and LFE. Peter has also recently been co-opted onto the LFE Parish Council.
Alison has lived in LFE for over 30 years and has attended worship at St Andrew’s since 1987. Alongside her Churchwarden responsibilities, she is involved in many church activities including Messy Church, Open the Book, Tots n Dots toddler group and Coffee Shop. She is also part of a team exploring ways for St Andrew’s to become more involved in the community.
