Our annual Christmas “Light a Candle” day on Saturday 17th December. St Andrew’s church remains open between 10.00am and 3.00pm to provide a sympathetic environment where people can remember their loved ones. They can light a candle, create a Christmas tree bauble in memory of their loved ones and plant a daffodil in our Remembrance glade.
Local residents also use the Remembrance Tree to lay flowers in memory of loved ones.
St Andrew’s Book of Remembrance provides a lasting record of those who have died and whose loved ones wish them to be remembered in prayer.
